Redmine Project Types

When assigning a project to a project type the custom field selection disappears.

There is a drawback with this behavior:

• When assigning a project type to an existing project, the administrator needs to navigate into each custom field and activate the field for this project.

Idea is to display the custom field selection boxes for projects independent of having a project type assigned or not. The box should display only those fields which are assigned to the project type. When no project type is assigned all custom fields should be displayed.
